It's hard to single out any one thing over another. The terrain is beautiful. we saw literally hundreds of elk in just 2 days with many good bulls. Jacob is relentless in his efforts to get you on a good bull. The lodge is beautiful, a first-class facility. The meals were delicious. Finally, ESO is in every way professional in its approach to giving their hunters a great experience, but yet make you feel like you're part of the family when you're there. This hunt has truly been the best hunting experience that I have ever been associated with. It is my second hunt with Eagle Spirit and with my guide Nathan. He was exellent. It was a great moment to witness my son, Blake kill his first elk on his first elk hunt ever ... I feel very blessed to be able to see him take his trophy bull. It doesn't get better than that in life. Eagle Spirit had a tremendous role in my fulfilling this dream with my son. Everything about Eagle Spirit is first-class. The guides are very experienced and reallyare dedicated to make our hunting trip one to remember for a lifetime. The accommodations and food are great. Dad and I had a great hunt with Craig. Craig had me on a nice 5x5 at daybreak opening day and the same for my dad on the 2nd day. Tagged both bulls inside 60 yards with muzzleloaders. Awesome! Then, Craig put me into a nice group of cos with a 4x4 bull on the 4th day. Tagged a nice cow with a bow and got to experience the rutting, bugling and calling of elk with Craig. Great hunt! This was our third hunt with Eagle Spirit and we have two more hunts planned, and I'm sure more after that. Every hunt we have been on with Eagle Spirit we have been place in front of game. The 6x6 joe put me on, I still can't believe he spotted from two miles away.
